The unique aroma of this Chinotto originates on the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente where, since 1500, chinotto plants have been cultivated. In Savona, today, there is the Slow Food Presidium to protect the precious citrus fruit that gives the drink the typical amber taste capable of releasing intense and juicy aromas.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Clear and transparent color with intense and lively caramelized shades of Afghan amber.
Intense aroma of citrus and spices. Carbon dioxide enhances the finesse and harmony of a particularly complex bouquet: citrus fruits, herbs, spices and bitter caramel.
On the palate it is velvety and soft with a noble and harmonious body, without excess sweetness.
Consumed alone it is an excellent thirst quencher particularly suitable as an aperitif to accompany savory snacks or throughout the meal in the tasting of rich dishes.
Excellent as an ingredient in cocktails where a strong exotic note is basic.
To be served in a low and large glass, without adding ice or lemon.
